Next Level Leadership [Part 1]
April 8, 2019The Entrepreneurial Mother: Managing a Work-Life Balance
May 8, 2019Your success should always be evidence that you are seeking and strategizing your subsequent move to the next level of your contribution. Even if no one has arrived, your leadership should always be inviting others to come in and join. Here are a few questions to help you prepare for your next level leadership move.
Does your leadership journey clearly reveal you leading yourselves first?
Your life must reflect others that you are committed to take care of your own life and work well. Leadership is essentially about becoming who we really are and who we were meant to be – not being who someone else thinks we should be.
When you hit the wall, do you ever think, “I’ve outgrown this space.”?
When you hit a wall in your journey, you probably aren’t seeing the greater, more meaningful future. Maybe you have become complacent or familiar with your status quo. It’s time to re-dream, aim higher and seek greater. Doing more in the old framework produces more of the old results. To move from being blind (hitting a wall) to having new sight, you need to not only learn but to change. This now allows you to shift the context you are moving within. This is a next-level leadership move, for you are positioning yourself for your deepest learning and, therefore, growth.
